An old family compound in traditional Nardaran, away from the resort. Modest wooden door, high stone walls, then a garden. The original house is joined to a contemporary guest wing. Carpets, ceramics, copper, timber ceilings, an outdoor tea room. Three bedrooms. The morning, when weather and work allow, is fish — then lunch at the family table.

The space

Three bedrooms, two baths, garden, tea room, guest wing. Sleeps six. Parking on the lane. No pool. Village, not Sea Breeze.

Guest access

The garden house and tea room. Sabir meets you at the wooden door.

The entrance looks like nothing. Inside is copper, carpets, a tea room. Fish lunch with the family. Not a resort and not trying to be.

Sabir said the boat was off that morning because of wind. We still ate kutum and tomatoes. Honesty is the listing.

Three bedrooms in the new wing. Garden is the stay. Tea after lunch until we did not need the sea.

  • My work: Keeps the family compound in Nardaran village
  • Lives in: Nardaran village

Sea Breeze is the other Nardaran. This is the village. You come through a wooden door into a garden. In the morning, if the weather and the work allow, I take you to the fish. Then we cook. Small on purpose.

Fish in the morning if the day allows; lunch at the house — fish, bread, tomatoes, herbs, tea. Small on purpose.
