A two-bedroom house in the orchards on the edge of Quba. Balcony over the rows, kitchen, parking, the town a few minutes down. Amina’s family still picks apples in harvest weeks. Shahdag is a longer drive north; she will take you if you add the gondola day.

Apples on the table when we arrived. That is Quba. Simple, clean rooms, a balcony into the trees. Amina left jam. We drove to the mountains and came back to the orchard each evening.
A local family booking their own district. The balcony is why you stay. Children in the garden, kitchen you can cook in. No performance, just a house that is looked after.
Quiet and kind. The town is close if you want a market. One night a dog barked in the lane, that is rural Quba. Morning on the balcony resets it. I would stay again in September.
Apples are the house. In harvest weeks I walk guests through the rows and send them home with fruit. The balcony does most of the work in summer.
