A two-bedroom pale timber cabin in Xoşbulaq, high above Daşkəsən. Pines, a meadow, a stove. Ganja people come here for the cool. It is not Göygöl and not Hacıkənd — a different ridge of the Lesser Caucasus. Vugar leaves a code and wood.

Pale timber, pines, children outside all day. Cabin is small and enough. Vugar left a code and wood. Nights need the stove in August.
Different air from Ganja. We cooked. No lake, no gondola — we knew that. The meadow is the point.
Wifi is weak. Road from Daşkəsən is a mountain road. Worth it if you want quiet, not a postcard lake.
Xoşbulaq is high — pines, meadow, a Finnish-style cabin we put up for weekends from Ganja. It is cooler than Hacıkənd. I do not drive Göygöl from here; it is the wrong mountain. Breakfast I can do. The rest is walking from the door.
