A two-storey courtyard house in Sheki’s old streets — brick, carved balcony, grapes, rooms that open on the yard. Sevinc lives next door. It sleeps five across two rooms. The palace is a walk; Kish is a short drive she will do if you add the day.
Two guest rooms, shared living, kitchen, courtyard, one and a half baths. Stairs are steep. Wifi is fine; parking is on the lane.

Woke to colour on the kilim from the stained glass. Sheki is better from a courtyard than from any hotel corridor. Sevinc’s breakfast — honey, qaymaq, tendir — was the morning we remember.
Old town on foot. Quiet at night. The house feels lived in, which is the point. Host was kind and left the gate code without fuss. We sat in the yard until late.
Beautiful courtyard. Street parking is a short walk, say that in the listing. The room is simple and right. I would stay again for the light on the floor at four o’clock.
