A three-bedroom A-frame on the river in Vandam, Gabala. Pool, kitchen, parking, the water a short walk. Farid’s family uses it in winter; in season it is let as the whole house. It is a holiday house, not a lodge with a reception.

The glass gable is as sharp as the photos. We swam at night and the water was still warm. River is close enough to hear from the bedroom. Farid’s map of the bend was useful.
We live in Gabala and still treat this as a weekend away. Children in the pool, adults on the terrace. House is kept better than many villas on the main road.
Strong stay. The A-frame living room is the reason to come. Wi‑Fi dropped once in a storm, that is the four. Pool and river walk make up for it. Would still recommend.
