Booking an experience

A table, a walk or a ride

Absolute Stays experiences are not a tour desk. A table is breakfast, lunch or an evening at the house — clay in Absheron, tea in the south, a fisherman’s table. A walk is a host who knows the village, the palace, the mud volcanoes. A ride is a gondola, a yacht, a cable, a boat on Nohur. Each listing says which of the three it is.

You book a slot: a date, a start time, a guest count. The host or Absolute tells you where to stand. The photographs are of that table, that path, that boat — not a stock folder from another country.

On a stay, or on its own

Many experiences sit on a listing. Add them when you book the house and the host already knows you are coming. Others are nearby — Sheki palace, a Shahdag gondola, a Caspian yacht — and need their own date and headcount. Open Experiences, filter by place or kind, and read duration, language and the maximum group size.

A stay and an experience can share one checkout. An experience alone is still a reservation. You still complete online check-in for that slot before you arrive. Guests in Azerbaijan may be asked for SIMA.

Read the page before you pay

What is included sits on the page: tickets Absolute or the host buys, the meal, the transfer to the trail. What is not included is also there — alcohol, a cable ticket, shoes you must bring. Dietary needs, a child in the group, or a fear of heights belong in the message the day before, not at the door.

Per-guest prices multiply by the people you add. Per-booking prices stay one line. You pay in AZN. The guest programme fee is currently 15% of that experience subtotal unless the page says otherwise.

What you confirm

A confirmed slot is a reservation. Gift cards apply at checkout before you confirm. If the experience is at the homestay, the host already has your stay file. If it is nearby, you still check in online for that hour. The meeting point is shared after confirm, not on the public page.

The total you authorise is the number on Confirm and pay. A second experience on the same trip is a second line. Do not pay the host cash at the gate for the same slot — that can cancel the reservation and remove cover.

Before you go

Wear what the page says for a mountain or a boat. Arrive at the hour written — a copper hour in Lahij does not wait for a late marshrutka without a message. If you will be late, write the host and Absolute on the reservation the same morning.

Cancellations follow the experience rules on the Cancellation policy. A no-show without notice is usually not refunded. The 24-hour home grace window is for houses, not automatically for every slot.

If the host cannot run it

If the host cancels, or weather or a closed road makes the slot impossible, Absolute rebooks you or refunds that experience. Write us the same day, with photographs if the meeting point was wrong. You are not left to argue in a chat.
