Online check-in before the door

Complete the check-in Absolute sends you before you travel. The host should already see who is coming. A pending check-in is not a stay. Do not expect a gate code for a booking that still says pending.

Guests in Azerbaijan may be asked for SIMA. Other guests complete the identity step we show. We do not ask you to send a passport photo over WhatsApp to a stranger.

Who is coming

The names on the reservation should be the people at the door. Friends who “just come too” are not automatically covered. Extra people over the listed maximum are a message to Absolute, not a surprise at 15:00.

If names do not match, the host should not hand over the house. Write us. Guest identity is part of AbsoluteCover. A group that arrives as “friends of the guest” is not the booking you paid for.

The house note

Read the note: parking, the gate code or who meets you, the dog in the yard, the steep path in rain. If you will arrive after dark, say so the day before. Village streets in Sheki and Lankaran often have no names — use the pin the host sent on the reservation.

Check-in is 15:00 on most listings unless another hour is written. Early arrival is a courtesy if the house is ready — not a right. Do not sit in the yard from 12:00 while the cleaner is still there.

Arrival

The host or a lockbox should match what the listing promised. The door code is shared after the stay is confirmed — not on the public page. If you will be late, message the host and Absolute in that thread.

Photograph the empty rooms if something already looks wrong when you walk in. That file helps if AbsoluteCover for guests has to move you. Do not force a door.

If you cannot get in

If nobody is there and the code fails, message Absolute and the host on the reservation the same hour. A guest who cannot get in is an AbsoluteCover case, not a review you wait for.

In an emergency — you feel unsafe at the gate, a stranger will not leave — leave if you can, call 112 in Azerbaijan, then the 24-hour safety line. Do not wait for a review window.

Leaving

Leave by 11:00 unless you booked a late checkout. Close gas and taps you used. Put keys where the note says. Take rubbish out if the note asks. Photograph anything you worry about — that helps if a damage question comes later.

Reviews open after the booked checkout. Both sides have a window. A missing kettle is a message during the stay. A lock that failed is a file, not a sentence you save for the score.
