Deliver a stay guests remember

Simple ways to help a longer stay

A week is not a Friday. Show the washer, the shop, and when the village wifi drops. Then leave them the house.

A week is a different stay

A Friday guest needs a bed and a way in. A week — or a month with a desk in Ganja or Sheki — needs a washer they can find, a shop they can walk to, oil and salt if you promised a kitchen, and the hours the village connection actually works. Delight is not a daily tour. It is not inventing activities. It is the house still working on day six.

Write those facts on the listing before they book: mid-stay clean if it is in the price, quiet hours for the neighbour who lives year-round, whether the courtyard fills with Novruz visiting. Surprise hospitality that changes the rules mid-week is how a long stay becomes a complaint.

The first two days

A short message after night one — not a visit they did not ask for. Confirm heating, water pressure, how rubbish leaves the plot, where the spare blanket is. If you promised a desk, it cannot be the dinner table in a dark room. If August water is the well, they should not learn that when they try to wash a week of plates.

Show the washer once. Show the shop or the marshrutka stop once. Then stop hovering. People on a longer stay are trying to live, not to be hosted every afternoon.

What to stock and what to price

Ask once if they are missing something small you can leave for the next guest too: a second pillow, a working kettle, a lamp by the desk. Keep kitchen basics if the listing says they can cook — oil, salt, a pan that is not decorative. Do not build a grocery bill you will resent on Tuesday.

A regular breakfast or a weekly clean belongs as an extra they pay Absolute for, or as a line already in the stay price. A “free” mid-stay clean you forget is worse than none. If you will enter the house, say who and when. Extra people on their side are still a message to Absolute.

Quiet, seasons and the village

Year-round neighbours are not décor. Quiet hours matter more on night twelve than on a weekend. Summer heat on Absheron needs shade and drinking water as listed. Winter under Şahdağ needs heat that lasts a week, not a stove that was fine for Friday. Spring flood or a closed mountain road is a message to them and to Absolute the same day — not a hope they will “see how it goes”.

Wifi that drops after lunch should be on the page. A longer stay will test it every afternoon. Lying about the connection is a review and sometimes AbsoluteCover.

Leave them the house

Do not invent a programme. Do not arrive with cousins to “check in”. Do not raise the price in a private chat because they stayed longer than you expected — nights already booked stay at the rate on the reservation, in AZN.

The delight of a longer stay is ordinary: a machine that washes, a shop they can find, a host who answered when the pump failed, and a house that still matches the photographs on day ten. Then they might book you again next August. That return still goes through Absolute so the file stays one place.

If something needs a person

Say they should not repair the heater themselves. You or someone you name comes. If someone is hurt, 112 first. If the stay is no longer the listing, write us through the contact page — we reply from info@abaz.az — the same day.

Help is practical and repeatable. That is enough.
