Your account and reviews

Reviewing a stay

After checkout you can rate the house and the host. Write what a future guest needs to know — not a private argument.

When reviews open

Both sides are invited after the booked checkout. You have a set window to write. Reviews publish when both are in, or when the window ends — whichever comes first. A reservation cancelled before check-in day does not get a review.

You should get the invite after checkout. If it is still in the list of reviews to write, you still have time. If it has expired, the window is closed. We do not reopen it for a late paragraph.

What to write

Write what a future guest needs to know: the path after dark, the heat in January, whether the kitchen matched the photographs, how the host answered. A low score is allowed if it describes the stay you had.

Write the stay you had, not a private argument. Do not invent a pool that was never listed. Do not ask the host to pay for a five-star sentence. That is not a review; that is a file.

The host writes about you

The host writes about you as a guest: the house as they found it, the headcount, whether you left on time. They have the same window. You will see each other’s reviews when they publish.

A group on one reservation is still one guest review of the house. Extra people who were not on the file are not a second score.

What we hide

Reviews that are only insults, or that we can see are fake, can be hidden. A review that is not about that reservation can be hidden. A low score that describes the stay stays.

We do not edit an honest paragraph into a five. We do not delete a host’s reply because you disliked it. If a review breaks the rules, write through the contact form; we reply from info@abaz.az.

Safety is not a review

If something was wrong, message the host and Absolute during the stay when we can still fix it. A review is a record, not the first place to report a lock that failed, a house that was not as listed, or a stay that felt unsafe.

AbsoluteCover for guests and the 24-hour safety line sit next to this page. In an emergency in Azerbaijan, call 112 first. Then write the reservation. Then, if you still want, write the review.

After the window

When the window ends, the review is the public record. Thank-you notes can still go in the message thread. They are not a second score.

Reviews after booked checkout are how the next guest trusts a courtyard in Sheki. Write the house you had. Leave the argument on the reservation, where we can still read it.
