A guidebook and house manual
Wifi, the door, the nearest shop, the river that floods in spring. A short manual saves messages at midnight.

Why a short manual
Guests arrive after a marshrutka, a dark village road, or a flight into Ganja. They want the door, the wifi, and whether the stove is safe to light — not a novel. A house manual you write once cuts the 23:00 texts that become a low communication score. Keep it on the reservation and as a printed card on the table.
The manual is not a second listing. Amenities, house rules and AbsoluteCover already sit on the page they booked. The card answers how this house works tonight. If a sentence is a promise — a pool, a private bathroom, January heat — it belongs on the listing first, then in one line here.
Wifi and the door first
Put the network name and password at the top. If the village internet drops after lunch, write the hours it works. A laminated wifi line next to the kettle is enough. Do not hide the password in a PDF they cannot open offline.
Then the door: which gate, which code, who meets them if there is no code, where to leave the key at 11:00. Share codes in the dashboard after the stay is confirmed — not on the public listing. If the path has no street names, one pin and one landmark. Online check-in already shows who is coming.
Heat, water, rubbish
Say how the house is heated and who lights it. A wood stove, a pump, well water — each is a midnight message if you leave it out. Write what must not go in the toilet if the septic will not take it, and where the rubbish goes.
Quiet hours belong here and on the listing. A neighbour who lives year-round in the next courtyard is a fact, not a complaint you make after they play music. Parking: which side of the fence, whether the track needs a 4x4 in March, whether a guest car blocks the family gate.
Outside the house
The nearest shop that is actually open, the marshrutka stop, the river that floods in spring, ice on the only path, dogs on the plot. Put 112 next to your number and Absolute’s. Safety at the stay and the three printables from Preparing the house for emergencies hang on the wall; the manual can point to those cards instead of repeating the FHN sheets.
If you accept children or pets, say where the cot is, which towels are for paws, and which rooms have the smoke and carbon monoxide alarms. Do not invent a high chair you do not have.
One walk or a tea house
Add one walk, one tea house, or one bakery you actually send people to — not a copied list of “top ten in Gabala”. Guests remember a courtyard you named, a Şəki sweet shop that is open on Tuesday, a path that does not end in a locked farm. If you offer a table or a nearby experience, put the hour and what they pay extra, and confirm it on the reservation.
Keep the local note short. The manual is how the house works. The listing is why they booked. A guidebook that argues with the photographs is a file AbsoluteCover for guests can open.
Language and whose number
Write in the language you host in. Absolute can help you keep an English version for foreign guests — write through the contact page; we reply from info@abaz.az. Do not paste a machine translation you have not read. A wrong heater instruction in English is worse than a short Azerbaijani card plus a photo of the stove.
Keep Absolute’s number in the note alongside yours. Do not move the stay only to a private WhatsApp. A dispute we cannot see is a dispute we cannot help. Update the card when the wifi, the door or the river changes — the same week, not after the first midnight message.
