How much Absolute charges — and what you receive
Guests pay Absolute. You receive the nightly minimum you set. The guest programme fee is not taken from that host rate.

Two numbers, not one tax
The guest sees the stay subtotal plus a programme fee — currently 15% of that subtotal unless the listing page says otherwise. Stay subtotal means guest nights + cleaning you listed + extras they ticked. That fee funds checkout, verification, AbsoluteCover and support. It is not a host commission deducted from your minimum.
You agreed a nightly floor (and extras) at onboarding. After a completed stay, the scheduled payout sends that rate in AZN. We do not take a second cut of the same nights at the door. AbsoluteCover is always on the reservation and is free for you.
What the guest pays
Checkout adds the 15% on the stay they booked, not on a hidden second price. If smart pricing raised the guest night above your floor, the fee is taken on the number they actually pay for nights, plus cleaning and extras. Gift cards apply before they confirm.
An experience booked on its own page uses the same 15% on that experience subtotal unless the page says otherwise. It is not mixed into the stay extra list.
What you receive
Your payout for the nights is the agreed nightly floor × nights. If we confirmed a higher host price in writing for those dates, that written host price is what we pay. Cleaning and extras you listed are paid to you as shown on the reservation.
A higher guest price does not automatically raise your payout. Smart pricing may lift what the guest sees. It never sells a night below your floor, and it does not skim the floor to fund the 15%.
- Nights: your floor, in AZN, after the stay.
- Cleaning and extras: the amounts on that reservation.
- Programme fee: guest side only — not subtracted from the floor.
Read the reservation
Each booking shows what the guest paid and what you will receive. Off-platform cash for the same nights can cancel the reservation and remove cover. How creators are paid is a separate programme — read the Absolute Creators terms.
There is no Superhost rebate and no Instant Book discount hidden in the fee.
Taxes and records
Prices are in AZN. Absolute collects the guest payment and remits applicable taxes where the law requires us to. You remain responsible for tax on your own hosting income. Keep the reservation record we send you. This page is not a tax opinion.
The reservation itself is the breakdown: nights, extras and AZN. Payouts use this same split.
Questions we already answer
Does the 15% come out of my payout? No. It is added for the guest. Does the fee apply to cleaning and extras? Yes — they sit in the stay subtotal unless the page says otherwise. When am I paid? After a completed stay, not when someone clicks Book.
If a line on a live booking does not match what you agreed, write through the contact form. The public address is info@abaz.az. Do not invoice the guest at the gate.
