How to search and book a stay

Three products, one checkout

Absolute Stays is not a hotel engine. Homestays are houses, rooms and camps inland — a courtyard in Sheki, a ridge villa in Gabala, a river cabin. Beach stays are Caspian villas and dachas from Bilgah to Lankaran. Experiences are a host table, a walk or a ride. Book one on its own or add it when you book the house. Start from Homestays, Beach or Experiences so the search matches what you want.

The three products share one checkout and one reservation file. A stay and a nearby experience can sit on the same trip. If you only want the walk or the ride, open Experiences and leave the house search alone.

Place, dates and who is coming

Where can be a region — Gabala, Sheki, Lankaran, Guba — or the whole country. When is check-in and checkout; most homes use 15:00 and 11:00 unless the listing says otherwise. Who is adults, children, infants and pets. If the house does not take that many people, it will not appear. Put the real headcount. A cousin who “just comes too” is not automatically covered.

Search with the nights you mean to stay. A weekend in July in Gabala looks different from a Tuesday in March. Filters help when you need a kitchen, parking or a ground-floor room — they do not replace reading the page. If those nights are gone, the house will not let you confirm.

Read the listing before you pay

The photographs are of that house. House rules, amenities and the AbsoluteCover note sit on the same page. If a pool, a kitchen or a private bathroom is listed, it must be there. If you need a cot, parking or space for a dog, write it in the request. Read the cancellation line: Flexible, Moderate or Firm. That is what applies after the 24-hour grace window.

Message the host if a detail is unclear — the path after dark, a wood stove, whether the marshrutka still runs. Keep the thread on Absolute Stays. Do not move the conversation to a private number to “save the fee”.

What you confirm

A confirmed booking is a reservation, not a hold. You pay the nights (or the experience) plus any cleaning, plus extras you ticked, plus the guest programme fee — currently 15% of that stay or experience subtotal unless the page says otherwise. Prices are in AZN. Gift cards and a creator username apply before you confirm.

The total you authorise is the number on Confirm and pay. Cleaning, if charged, is a separate line. A transfer or a host table is an extra you chose. If the house can take your dates, the nights come off the calendar.

After you book

You get a confirmation with dates, the total in AZN, and the next step for check-in. The street address is shared when the reservation is confirmed, not on the public page. Complete online check-in before you reach the door. Guests in Azerbaijan may be asked for SIMA. Other guests complete the identity step we show.

On eligible home bookings you can cancel for a full refund within 24 hours of booking if check-in is still at least 48 hours away. After that, the listing’s terms apply. Read the Cancellation policy once, before you travel.

Keep the stay on Absolute Stays

Message the host on Absolute Stays. Off-platform payment can cancel the reservation and remove AbsoluteCover for guests. A host who asks for a second cash payment at the door should be reported through the contact form; we reply from info@abaz.az.
