Inclusive hosting

Objective yes or no

Dates open, guest count under the maximum, pets only if you allow pets, no parties if you wrote no parties. If those pass, the reservation passes. A private standard you apply to some names, some languages, or some couples only is how we review the host — not a “house rule” you invent at the gate.

Verification is SIMA in Azerbaijan and biometric otherwise. You see who is coming. That is not a licence to refuse the file after you liked the photograph less than you expected.

Write the house as it is

Stairs. A steep or iced path. A shared bathroom. No lift. A threshold at the gate. Gravel a wheelchair will not cross. Ground-floor rooms if you have them — and if you do not, say so. Guests who need a level stay will filter. A surprise step at 15:00 is a listing miss, sometimes AbsoluteCover.

A ramp you actually have belongs in the text and in a photograph. A ramp you plan to build next year does not. This is not a US statute reprinted on a Baku apartment. It is the plot in Gabala, the dacha in Lankaran, the walk-up in the old city.

Language on the listing

Write who the house is for without assuming a husband and wife, a “ladies only” joke, or a pronoun you do not need. Gender-neutral listing language is ordinary Azerbaijani, English and Russian — qonaqlar, guests, гости — not a lecture. House rules can still name quiet hours, smoking, and the maximum number of people.

Answer in the language you host in. Absolute can help with an English line for foreign guests. Do not use the inbox to test whether you “want” a booking that already paid.

Service animals

A service animal is generally a dog trained for a person’s disability. It is not a pet. On Absolute Stays a guest can generally be accompanied even when the listing says no pets. You may not refuse the reservation, add a pet fee, or invent extra cleaning because of that animal — unless a lawful Absolute-approved exemption applies.

Guests should keep the animal under control, housebroken, and out of rooms you marked off-limits to the guest. You should not demand papers. Read the accessibility policy. This article does not replace it.

Emotional support animals

An emotional support animal is not required to be task-trained. Unless applicable law says otherwise, your ordinary pet rules apply — including a no-pets listing and a pet fee if you take pets. Where law or the accessibility policy requires accommodation, treat the stay closer to a service animal.

The stay is still the stay

Cover, the 15% guest fee, and check-in do not change because a guest uses a cane, a service dog, or a ground-floor room. Close nights you cannot host. Keep the calendar true. Inclusive hosting is the same house, honestly described, for every name that fits the written rules.
