Ready rooms, open nights

Guests who book this week are not a different product. They still arrive at 15:00, still need linen that matches the photographs, still complete verification — SIMA in Azerbaijan, biometric otherwise — and still sit under AbsoluteCover. The only difference is time. If the house is not finished, leave the night closed.

Search can only sell what you left open. A blocked “maybe” week is how last-minute demand goes to the courtyard next door.

When to allow it

Only if you can finish cleaning before 15:00 and still answer the message. A two-night minimum can stay. Same-day is optional and often more pain than a weekday night next week. Leave a turnaround night if the cleaner cannot do 11:00 to 15:00.

If you live on another plot, a last-minute gate code still has to work. A neighbour you name is part of the listing, not a hope.

Price this week without dumping next month

A slightly lower floor on empty nights this week is fine. Do not collapse the number so far that a guest who booked last month feels foolish, or so far that the next four weeks only sell at panic. Your floor is still in AZN. We will not sell below it. The guest still sees nights, cleaning, extras and the 15% programme fee.

It is still a reservation

They paid Absolute. The nights were open. Verification completes as the listing explains. You do not get to “see how you feel” after they confirm. A host cancel because a weekend cousin appeared is handled for the guest and reviewed on your listing.

Do not ask them to pay cash at the gate for a cheaper last-minute night. That can cancel the file and remove cover.

Check-in does not shrink

Codes, the wifi note, ice on the path, the heater in winter — the same afternoon walk. Last-minute is not a reason to skip the photograph of the empty house or the gas tap. If something broke that morning, write on Absolute Stays the same day.

A last-minute guest who finds last night’s bottles will review the house, not your calendar stress.

When to leave the night empty

You are away. The cleaner cannot come. The road is closed. Close the night. An empty night you chose is cheaper than a cover file and a host cancel. Peak weeks and low season have their own pages — last-minute is a tool, not a duty.
