Helping your listing stand out
Guests compare three houses in a minute. The one they open has a true first photograph, a short title, and amenities that are actually in the rooms.

The first screen
Lead with the room people sleep in or the view they came for — not a dark corridor. Absolute photographs the stay; you keep the rooms in that state. A title that names the place (Gabala courtyard, Lankaran dacha) beats a generic luxury label.
The first image is a promise. If the courtyard is the reason they drove from Baku, that courtyard should be the first frame, in daylight, without a drying rack in the middle.
Photographs that tell the house
Five honest photographs beat twenty of the same sofa. Show every room the guest can enter: beds, the bathroom they will actually use, the kitchen as it is, the stair if it is steep. A pool only in July should look like July — and the listing should say when it is closed.
You do not need a marketplace photographer or a third-party “listing booster”. Absolute’s visit and listing photographs are how a stay goes live. Your job is to keep the rooms as shot and to say when something has changed — a wall painted, a bed removed, the heater replaced.
- Open curtains. Shoot the bed and the window, not the wardrobe door.
- One clear bathroom photograph is worth more than a collage of tiles.
- If heating is a winter story, photograph the stove or the radiator — guests in January look for that.
Amenities guests filter for in Azerbaijan
Tick only what is in the house today. Filters are how a family from Ganja decides in thirty seconds. A tick that is not true becomes a message on arrival and, if it is serious, an AbsoluteCover file.
- Wifi that still works in the afternoon, not only at breakfast.
- Heating you can explain — gas, stove, or electric — and when it is on.
- A kitchen a guest can cook in, parking a car can actually use, a bathroom that is not shared if you said private.
Title, who it is for, who it is not
Write who sleeps well here: a family that wants a yard, a couple that wants quiet, someone with a laptop for a week. Write who will be unhappy: a group that wants a party, a guest who needs a lift, a driver who expected a paved lot.
House rules sit next to AbsoluteCover so nobody is surprised at the gate. Pets, children, smoking, quiet hours and the maximum number of people belong on the page before the reservation, not in a speech on the step.
After they open the page
They read the first paragraphs and the amenities. They look at the map pin and the check-in note. They do not need a novel. They need to know how far the marshrutka stop is, whether the water is well or mains, and if the night is cold what they should bring.
Update the page when the house changes. A listing that still shows a summer table in December does not “stand out” — it disappoints. If you are unsure how to word a change, write through the contact form; the public address is info@abaz.az.
What will not make it stand out
There is no Superhost badge to earn and no Instant Book mark that jumps you up a list. Accuracy, a true first photograph, and nights you actually host are what guests trust. A cheaper night below a neighbour is less useful than a house that matches its page.

Prepare your home for guests
Guests book what they see. The house must be ready the afternoon before they arrive — not after they knock. Check-in is 15:00 unless the listing says otherwise.
