Longer stays

A week or a month is a different house than a Friday night. Price it, clean it, and write the wifi honestly.

Who books them

Remote workers, families who want one kitchen, and guests who are tired of changing houses every two nights. They filter for wifi, a washer, a desk, and a calendar that is actually open for a week or a month. If you only want weekends, close the weekdays. Do not accept a 14-night stay you will cancel when a better weekend appears.

A long stay is a different house than a Friday night. They cook more, wash more, and sit at the same table for ten breakfasts. The listing has to tell the truth about heat, water, noise and the line. AbsoluteCover still applies. A side cash month at the door does not.

Price, the floor, and a mid-stay clean

A weekly or monthly price can sit under the nightly minimum you already set. Absolute still collects the guest programme fee on the stay subtotal. You still receive the rate you agreed, in AZN, after the stay completes — or on the schedule we wrote. Write whether the price includes a mid-stay clean, and on which day, and who enters the house.

Do not invent a cash “discount if you stay a month” off the reservation. The guest pays through Absolute. A deal we cannot see can cancel the reservation and remove AbsoluteCover. If you want a lower floor for 14 nights or more, write it with us before they book.

Wifi, a washer, a real desk

Longer stays fail when the listing promised “workspace” and the table is the dinner table in a dark room. Photograph the actual desk, the chair, and the plug. If the village internet drops in the afternoon, write the hours it works. Remote workers book a line that holds; a surprise outage on day one is how a month ends in a file.

Show where they wash clothes and whether the machine is shared with your family. Say how heating is paid if it is extra in winter. Well water, a pump, a wood stove they must light — each of those is a week of messages if you leave it off the page.

How to host a long stay

Confirm check-in as usual: 15:00, the door, who is on the reservation. Then leave them the house. Check in after the first few days — a short message, not a visit they did not ask for. If you live on the plot, quiet hours and the shared yard belong on the listing and in the manual before they arrive, not as a complaint on day eight.

A mid-stay clean you promised should have a day and a time. Write who comes in. Do not arrive unannounced “to water the plants” in a stay you listed as theirs. Extra cousins at 23:00 are still a message to Absolute, even in week three.

Neighbours and the month

Tell them the quiet hours for a neighbour who lives year-round. A month of music on a Sheki courtyard is a different problem than a Saturday night. Parking, rubbish, and the river that floods in spring matter more when they are there for thirty days. Put 112 and Absolute’s number in the note beside yours.

If something breaks — the heater in January, the pump, a lock — write the reservation the same day. A long stay is still an Absolute Stays reservation. Damage they will not pay, and income you lose if you must cancel the next confirmed Absolute nights because of that damage, sit under AbsoluteCover.

Calendar honesty

Close nights you cannot host. Do not leave weekdays open as bait for a month you will cancel. Host cancellations on a long stay strand people who unpacked. If you must move dates, write Absolute the same day. Peak season in Gabala and around Novruz is when hosts most often regret an open Tuesday.

A week or a month is still the house in the photographs. Price it, clean it, write the wifi. Then leave the calendar only as open as the house you will actually give them.
