Using saved replies
Wifi, parking, the shop, the steep path — save them once. A saved reply is a start. The guest still needs a human if the code fails.

Save the answers you already give
You already type the same three paragraphs every Friday: how to find the pin, where to leave the car, when the shop closes, how to light the stove. Write them once, in the language you host in, and keep them next to the reservation thread.
A saved reply is a start, not a closed door. Read the question. If they asked about a baby cot you do not have, do not paste the parking note. If they asked whether the code works after midnight, answer that — then send the arrival steps.
What to save
Directions that match the pin. How the gate code is handed over — not the live code. Quiet hours. How to light the stove. Where the stopcock is. Rubbish day. Absolute’s number beside yours. Wifi network name and the hours it actually holds, if the village drops after lunch.
Save a checkout note: 11:00 unless you sold a late checkout, keys back in the box, gas and taps. Save a winter note if heating is a stove you have to explain. Save a summer note if the pool is closed on a Tuesday for cleaning.
Languages
Write in the language you can still speak at 23:00. If you host in Azerbaijani, keep the Azerbaijani replies true. We can help keep an English line for foreign guests — short, the same facts, no sales pitch. Russian matters for a lot of Caspian and mountain weekends; only save it if you will answer in it when something breaks.
Do not run a translator paragraph you cannot defend. A wrong bus time in English is still your listing.
When to send them
After check-in is complete, send arrival: path, parking, how the code will arrive. The night before, send the code or the box steps — not a week early on a public channel. The evening before checkout, send the morning steps.
A scheduled note only works if the facts are still true. If the road closed or the box failed, you write a live message. Templates do not update themselves.
What not to automate
Damage, a missing amenity, a guest who feels unsafe — those are live messages to you and Absolute, not a template. A complaint about the photograph is a conversation. A second family that arrived is a message to Absolute the same hour.
Do not paste a sales pitch into every booking. Do not send a menu of extras they already saw on the listing. Do not auto-reply “yes” to early check-in if the cleaner is still in the rooms.
Keep them true
When the shop changes hours, when you change the wifi name, when the neighbour’s dog is gone — edit the saved reply the same week. A stale paragraph is how a five-star house collects a three-star note about “the host sent last year’s instructions”.
If Absolute updates check-in or the guest fee line, you do not rewrite that. You rewrite the house: the path, the stove, the box. The reservation file stays on Absolute Stays so we can see what you sent.
