Deliver a stay guests remember

Responding quickly to guests

Same day is the standard. Same evening if they arrive after dark. A three-word answer (“gate code 4821”) beats a long silence.

What “quick” means on Absolute

The booking message is “are you real and how do I get in”. Answer the same day. If they are already on the road to Gabala or the south coast after sunset, answer that evening. A lock, a dark yard, a missed marshrutka — those are same-hour problems, not tomorrow’s inbox.

A long, beautiful paragraph sent at noon the next day does not reopen a gate they stood at at 23:00. Three true words now are hospitality. Silence is how a stay becomes a review about you, not about the rooms.

Before they travel

When the reservation confirms, write: pin, landmark, whether you or a code will be there, where to leave a city car if the last kilometre is dirt. If you need six hours, say when you will write — then write. Do not leave them reading last year’s review for the wifi password.

Send check-in facts while they still have signal. Guests coming from Baku through snow toward Şahdağ, or through heat toward Lankaran, cannot wait for a novel.

The night they land

Arrival is when speed matters most. A code that does not work, a gate that faces the wrong alley, a yard with no lamp — reply in the hour, not after dinner. If you cannot reach the house, say who can: a neighbour, a relative, Absolute if the lock is our problem.

Saved replies help for parking and wifi. They do not replace you at 23:00. If you will be offline for a wedding in Sheki, put a second person on the thread before the guest leaves the city. A “we will write tomorrow” with no tomorrow is a host cancellation in slow motion.

During the stay

A missing kettle is a message. A lock that fails is a message to the guest and to Absolute the same hour. Keep it on Absolute Stays so the reservation file is complete. Off-platform chats drop the timestamps we need if the stay becomes an AbsoluteCover file.

Stay calm and name the next step: when you will arrive, what they should do until then, whether they should call 112 if someone is hurt. Empathy without a time is still silence. A short “received, there in forty minutes” is faster than a paragraph about village life.

What a saved reply can and cannot do

Write three templates you actually use: how to find the house, wifi and rubbish, the shop and the marshrutka. Use them so the first answer is not a blank page. Then edit the one line that is true today — the road is muddy, the pool cover is on, Novruz cousins fill the shared yard.

A template that still mentions a stove you removed is a listing lie in the inbox. Refresh saved text when you refresh the page. Tools only work if the calendar and the sentences are true.

After they leave, still the same day

A thank-you and a review ask can wait until morning if checkout was at 23:00. A damage photograph cannot. If the house is wrong, write Absolute before you write the guest a novel. Public review replies stay short: thank, then what you fixed.

Quick hosting is a habit, not a personality. Same day. Same evening after dark. Same hour when they cannot get in. That is the whole standard — and the one guests remember when they decide whether to book you again.
