Went with friends who get carsick. Javid took the road slowly and waited at the gate. Shahdag gondola day was the day, not a checklist.
Age and weather limits are real — Javid said so up front. The part that was open was still the reason we came. Drive was the useful bit.
Not a huge tour bus. Small car, one host, enough time on site. English and Azerbaijani both worked. I would do this on a return stay.
Clear pickup, weather said out loud, tickets explained before we paid. Shahdag, Qusar looks like the photos. We were back at the house before dark.
Javid drove, waited, and did not pretend this was a private stunt show. Shahdag gondola day is run by the park; you just get there without guessing the road.
If you need a guided lecture, this is not that. You get there, you do the thing, Javid is nearby. Honest, and the views hold up.
